Running update


Today, I ran/walked 3 miles. I completed my first mile in just under 8 minutes, walked for about a mile or less, and then ran my last mile home! I was tired, but I did it. I’m definitely finding myself less and less out of breath nowadays. I feel like I can run faster and farther without getting as tired as I used to. That’s progress, right?

Overall, I feel good about my running progress. I’m tired after completing my work-out, but it’s a good tired. My legs don’t ache for hours or days afterwards. I stretch and then feel great. I think my body is adjusting to the running I’ve been doing. Because of how good I’m feeling, I’m debating about running more often. I usually try to go about 3 days a week, but I think I will kick it up a notch and go 4 days a week, as long as I have the time. Running makes me feel good– physically and emotionally. Running allows me time to think and relieve any stress!
