The Story of a Good Monday

10/24/2011

Once upon a time there was  a good Monday. There was a Monday where you woke up on time and felt energized. You arrived to work early. There was a Monday where you may have felt overly busy or even stressed at times, but you didn’t let it show. You carried on. You went about your normal everday routine and even felt more productive than usual. You left work on time (another rare accomplishment in itself). You were able to take some time for yourself before moving on to the next thing scheduled. You laughed a half a dozen times and smiled more than you can recall. You felt happy. You felt comfortable. You were able to stop, take a deep breath, and realize what a great day you were having (especially for a Monday). You talked about everything and nothing. You didn’t dwell on the negatives. You made mistakes, but you moved on. You laughed at yourself. You shared your knowledge with others. You sang out loud. You didn’t care what other people thought of you. Once upon a time there was a Monday where you weren’t already praying for another weekend. Once upon a time there was a good Monday.

Life is all about attitude and appreciation. Make sure you acknowledge anything good that happened to you on this Monday. 🙂
